Wide shot of Widener Library at Commencement.

Once a year, Harvard University celebrates its nearly nine-thousand-degree candidates from each of its degree-granting schools.

What makes this commencement celebration truly remarkable is that it's the only occasion when all graduates in a class gather at once.

While graduates are allowed to invite only a limited number of guests to join them in Harvard Yard to celebrate this significant milestone, all are welcome to watch the proceedings through a live web-stream or at various viewing locations in the undergraduate Houses and graduate/professional Schools.

We urge guests to coordinate with their graduates on their plans. For those attending in person, please find more details below.
